How much do your window coverings cost?
The price of a window covering depends on a few factors. The easiest way for you to get an estimate for your project would be to either call, e-mail or fill out the contact us page and provide the rough measurements of the window or windows you would like to cover, the type of window treatments you would like and whether or not you would like them to be motorized
Do you install window treatments?
Yes, with our own factory trained installers! After you have received an estimate from us and wish to move ahead with the purchase of window coverings, we will come out and provide the exact measurements and planning that are required to complete your project.
Can more than one motor be connected to the same switch?
I cannot run communication wire from shade to shade. Will I have to aim the remote control at each window to get them to operate or will I have to open up my walls?
No, If communication wire cannot be used due to the inability to run wires then we can use radio control.
Can I combine different styles of treatments on the same system?
Yes, you can combine multiple styles, designs and voltages within the system and utilize the same central control.
How do integrate with my home automation or A/V system?
Integration can be accomplished using dry contact, RS232, and or IR
What if I can’t get power to the window opening?
We offer several battery operated solutions. Batteries have to be replaced every 1-5 years, depending on usage. This system operates with remote control.
What is the difference between AC and DC motorized shades?
The difference between AC and DC power is that AC is high voltage while DC is low voltage. AC Power is the same as the power received from plugging a cord into a standard wall outlet. Low voltage is powered by that same outlet but the cord has a transformer, (think of a cell phone cord or a computer power cord with their boxes on the plug – that is a transformer), that reduces the high voltage power received from the outlet to low voltage power. A main reason that DC power is important is that no electrician is required for wiring low voltage powered motorized window shades.
