VisionArt, originators of Fine Art Prints on a motorized retracting canvas, will gladly accommodate those buyers who wish to use their own artwork or photography.

Customers can commission their favorite artist to create original artwork, or a photographer to take a family portrait for their VisionArt unit. And they can have a custom picture frame made that’s perfect for their décor.

VisionArt custom art orders can be placed through authorized Premier Gallerie dealers. Custom Fine Art Prints are produced by VisionArt's authorized art vendor.

Dealers will make sure that customers creating custom images understand that they must conform to the 16x9 aspect ratio of the plasma screen. This means that the artwork - or the photograph - must be created to fit the horizontal shape of the plasma screen. It also means that a lot of “existing” art may not be used because it can’t be “cropped” to fit this format. Additionally, customers understand that 1-½ “ of the top, bottom and sides of their image will be covered up by the picture frame.

Hand rendered original artwork must be at least 40” width and 22 1/2” height - in its original form - to ensure reproduction quality. Anything smaller will not reproduce to acceptable standards.

Artwork on paper, canvas, or hard surfaces must be professionally boxed or crated, insured and shipped to VisionArt's authorized art vendor, at the customer’s expense. Photographs must be on 4x5 or 8x10 transparencies that include a color bar and gray scale. Digital images must be delivered on a compact disc, and accompanied by a matching proof. Digital files must be 150 megabytes at 300 d.p.i.

VisionArt's authorized art vendor will scan the artwork or transparency and create a digital file that is 150 megabytes in size at 300 DPI. They will print a color proof on canvas and send it to the customer for approval. Once a proof is made that the customer has approved with their original signature, the authorized art vendor will generate the full size Fine Art Print for the VisionArt unit.
